the Country will change? Do you think we'll have a President that won't be as controversial as Trump, but the Country won't get back to it's historical lows in so many key areas? Can Biden do it?
If Biden wins, will he be more Presidential, but our Country goes to s##t? This is what I'm afraid of, and many others are as well.

Would Biden really be runnning the Country? Or will it simply be a team of him, AOC, Pelosi, Schumer, et al?

We have to at least ATTEMPT a different course. I don't know who you're referring to with people being concerned, but our country cannot take 4 more years of this.

You would think this is from March. It's from today. There's no plan, John. None.

You would think this is from March. It's from today. There's no plan, John. None. If you picked one country in the World that would not be able to react effectively to the virus...it would be us. "Rugged individualist" is fine out on the range, but when cohesive reaction is necessary, its a problem. We are divided, racked by conspiracy theories and have animosity towards science and "learned" people. Of course the biggest issue is no leadership at the top. It would take the greatest of Presidents to walk us through this...instead we have Alfred E. Neuman.

No. Do I think he's even a marginal improvement over what we have? Yes. Those numbers you keep coming back to for validation were started under the Obama administration, which Joe Biden was pretty well involved in. Do I think we'll see a reduction in hate, bigotry, racism, Nazi ideology, civil rights rollbacks and general insanity? Yes.

Do you guys think Trump would be in good shape getting reelected, if the Covid didn't happen? Do you think he was doomed anyway? If the Covid didn't happen, the Country would probably still be in good shape, don't you think?
I'm asking these questions, because to be honest, the way the Country was going before the Covid, except environmentally, I would take Trumps idiotic statements, etc, in exchange for a Country that was doing very well. To me, how OUR Country is performing is number one. I simply have this huge fear that if Biden gets in here, we're screwed.
If there was a candidate that was a Moderate, with good credentials, I'd vote for him in a second. There is no good choice, but at least under Trump, the Countries main priorities to most, were doing very well. He has PROVEN that he can do this. Do we want someone who will be status quo, but potentially not get our Country back to where it was in terms of employment, economy, etc...?
These are my inner thoughts that I'm expressing to you guys. That's all. I'm still soul searching and taking this to the end of October. So much can happen before then.

A leap of faith may be necessary. If I had a crystal ball and it said that the Country will be back in good shape economically and with employment under Biden, and we wouldn't go far left or to Socialism, I would vote for him. I'm not personally convinced of this yet.

Totally agree with the fact that our Country would be in MUCH better shape socially, etc, and that may become the deciding factor for many and me, since it's so bad right now.

Biden is a means to end and would be primarily irrelevant. The Democrats are hoping for Federal & State power uber alles. Increased control and nanny state comes to the middle class by the force of Government. MSM and Social Media will say "these are not the driods you are looking for" when people complain and all will be well by mandate. Fearing that the Dems may lose power in two years given the backlash, even more voting fraud enabling measures will be enacted. The Dems can taste the power and are letting their clueless spoon fed Marxist idiot attack dogs intimidate as they hope for one party rule (as in their beloved CCP).

We have the eradication of discrimination protections against the LGBTQ community. Now, today, we have this. Who was the country in good shape for? The people whose lives weren't affected by who the president is either way? Or the people that support these insane policy changes out of spite? When you run on a platform of hate, misogyny and bigotry, nobody is in good shape, man. Nobody.

I really want to hear his views and then I would have to hope that he implements them if I like them.

You have this illusion that because of these flimsy economic numbers that can be undone in a heartbeat (and manipulated into the ground) that that somehow makes it tenable to have the rest of the package. No. Full stop. It's not just the stupid things he says - It's the HATE he espouses. It's the destruction of the rule of law. It's the weaponization of a "neutral" Department of Justice. It's the systematic removal of checks and balances, courtpacking, race-baiting EVIL ideologies. American troops were murdered with Russian backing under HIS watch. No.

Something that's very difficult for me to get past is the fact that everytime someone has something good to say about the President and his accomplishments, there's always a counter point and it goes back and forth.
It's very hard to figure out who to believe, or who is ACTUALLY right. I understand that some of the issues are blatantly true or false, but soooo many of them could go either way. It's hard to know what's been taken out of context or not.

You would think this is from March. It's from today. There's no plan, John. None. Trump has a problem sometimes, with saying things that he hopes will give the American people hope. Like in the quote above, is a good example. He always gives himself an out though, where he says "I hope."
