i just hope they're playing basketball! My thoughts exactly. As of right now I'd say 2 to 1 odds there will be no non-con games and 3 to 1 the entire season will be canceled.

I can't see the university allowing 12,414 into the arena for any reason. Even now, you need special permission from the Dean of your college - which takes several days - just to go in to an office or lab! And that's progress from just last month when you weren't allowed on campus for any reason. They're going to hem and haw, but just it ain't happenin'…

Best case scenario would be a full BB season in front of a very partial crowd (20-40% of capacity). We could have a full season with no crowds, or a reduced season with either crowd scenario. Last resort would be no hoops, but there are several scenarios in the middle.

But I can't see going to a basketball game. I though the only thing that would keep me away from an Aztec basketball game would be a death in the family ... mine. But, now I'm not so sure. If I was 50 it might be a different decision.
Unfortunately, I fear all the pessimists are going to be right about football and basketball not happening this year.

I could see basketball in an empty arena. Although it’s obvious they would lose an awful lot of ticket revenue, I believe the networks would pay more money for games on TV. I think it would be better than not playing at all.
