amp.sacbee.com/news/politics-government/capitol-alert/article243426346.htmlSo systemic objective racism will somehow cure the alleged systemic subjective racism? Probably not going to be well received by the Asian community, thus the law could probably generate more inter-racial animosity than it attempts to solve. Does the law say how it will deal with people of mixed races and blood line fractions? You think the question is just meant to poke fun but you do know that inter-racial marriage has been allowed for some time now. Letters of Patent? Mandatory 23 and Me tests? Could applicants self-identify their race (see Elizabeth Warren)? Would people of the Arabic or Semetic race be categorized as caucasian or have their own category? Would Filipinos be Hispanic or Asian? Or would it simply be up to the Dean of Admissions and their personal take on the tone of the skin in the applicant's picture and the "quality" of their name? For reference, here is the primary clause in the CA Constitution they want to erase: (a) The State shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin in the operation of public employment, public education, or public contracting.
