Watching his film he does nothing for me. 6'6, no handles, mediocre shot at best who doesn't appear to be quick who scores by over powering smaller JC guys, and who was a non qualifier out of HS. He'd come here as a junior at a time when AG is a senior and Keshad a junior at the same position. There are MANY other players I'd be more interested in, including possibly 100+ transfers next year when the transfer rule is likely to change.

He shows really nice touch at the rim, not finishing just by dunks. He definitely needs to get into better shape but i like him

Anyone with a Larry Johnson comparison gets my attention. What we need is a filler for the Yanni role: a PF that can post, score, rebound, and get out on the break. I see a lot of potential in his game and he checks all those boxes. Reminds me of JJ O'Brien. I'd take him over Anselem just based on his fit for the 2020-21 roster.
Can you imagine having to get up to battle Matt Mitchell, Nathan Mensah, and KJ Allen? I hate playing big guys who like to pound. Exhausting and intimidating.

He'd never play with Matt, etc.

Allen is a undersized power-forward and a force down low, he has been a consistent perfromer at Westchester and ELAC. Many though that he was ready to play at the D1 level. Allen was named the 2018 CIF Player of the year at Westchester HS. POY awareded over Ethan Anderson USC, Devonaire Doutrive BSU, Christian Koloko U of A, and Kihei Clark UVA.
Has had good numbers at East LA, 30 games 27.5 minutes, 67% FG%, 69% FT%, 9.4 RPG, 18.5 PPG and 27 PPG/per 40 minutes, but 0-5 past the arc. Not a 3 pt threat.

Coach Dutcher knows who he needs. It is a bit absurd for someone who doesn’t really know to say “no thanks”.

Besides, with all the shite we see posted these days on here this shouldn’t really bother anyone. Not to mention, he does have some pretty solid offers and interest so I think the kid will do just fine.

It is very possible that any recruit or his posse/family may read what social media has to say about the possibility of the player going to SDSU. If there are negative items such as “no thanks“ or “stay away” or “uses PED’s” then that could adversely affect Coach Dutcher’s (or Hoke’s) ability to recruit the player. What if that player goes to another school and turns into a 1st team All American? Such negative opinions should be kept to themselves.....the posters who engage in this activity generally knows squat about basketball or what it takes to recruit the right players into Coach Dutcher’s Program. That’s all.

Players aren't that stupid IMO. I doubt any would be steered away by a couple posts, whether here, FB or elsewhere.

You are absolutely right: "Players aren't that stupid."
Only internet posters sink to THAT level of stupidity.
