BUT, Fox News had Mark Fuhrman on tonight, for some inexplicable reason. So you may definitely have a point there. That was a bizarre choice.

Trayvon Martin was an example of protests. He was a victim of a wannabe police officer, in a miscarriage of justice. I have been watching the coverage for a couple of days, I don't see any indication of the media fanning the flames. The video of what happened to George Floyd was enough. The entire country has not protested like this over one shooting and you know it. Quit acting like an ignorant tool. www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/blacklivesmatter-protest-rochester-police-arrest-74-demonstration-n606416Says otherwise here. And yes, I realize there was 2 victims and not 1.

Is this the entire country? 100 people protested in ONE city. This is your f****** argument. And you call people stupid? Isn't it getting close to your bedtime?

I didn't realize there was a city named Baton Rouge Rochester. Where is that located? You could actually read the article here. Little Rock, Phoenix, Rochester, Baton Rouge, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Denver, etc.

What's happening currently involves all races protesting. Big difference.

Believe it or not, there are people in Black Lives Matter that aren't black. What a brain drain.

I mean you could have just said "I didn't realize there were protests in multiple cities across the country 4 years ago." Pretty simple. But instead you have to go to an argument of "all races are involved now." All races were involved in 2016, too, just FYI. Black Lives Matter was formed in 2013, but there are many races represented in the movement. If you think it's bad now, wait and see if Chauvin gets acquitted. Y i k e s.

I'm not going to state that because this has a completely different feel to it. 40 million Americans unemployed isn't helping anything. BTW, I'm not real happy with our judicial system. And I have family in law enforcement. This was an excuse for all angry Americans to protest and riot. Hopefully this is a wake up call to the our so called representative and people start to come together and realize most Americans regardless of race are getting f****d.

It might have a different feel because the circumstances of the country have a different climate, but the root cause is the same as it was in 2016. Philando Castile was murdered, Alton Sterling was murdered by a cop who had no business being employed. George Floyd was murdered by a white officer who had 18 complaints in his LEO career. 18. Peaceful protests took place. NBA players took a knee, NFL players like Colin Kaepernick and Eric Reid used their platform and were vilified for trying to enact change. One example? Donald Trump in 2017.

It was Eric Reid he was referring to, unfortunately. I get it, Donald Trump is not responsible for anything bad that happens. Beautiful economy, tremendous things, great things. But unfortunately...he is still a racist. I know that's the media's fault, and he is innocent. I'm out of KoolAid now.

He absolutely said what most Americans felt and I'm sure he obviously meant that towards Kaepernick as well. Like I've said many times, one of the reasons that people voted for him is because of his tell it like it is attitude, not a politically correct one. We've had enough of that and then following that up with notbing.

And no, he said what a racist would say about a non-violent protest of societal injustice. "We" have had enough of Donald Trump to know he's an utter failure as a leader, a man, and a human being. A coward that revels in division, hatred and bigotry. He'll be behind bars after he unceremoniously loses in November. Hopefully there's a line he crosses between now and then that makes you say "Hey, I don't care how fake the economy's greatness is, this asshat isn't worth defending anymore."

He said it based on the disrespect it gave towards the country, the flag, and those who've died defending our freedom. That's what made him, and just about all Americans angry. I think you know that. Also, Kaepernick didn't have to be in the league for it to be directed towards him as well. Kaepernick started the whole thing.

Except it was VERY clear that the protests had nothing to do with the flag, the military, or anything other than racial injustice in this country. You can stop defending racism at any time now. The only people who were angry were those who live in a bubble, ignorant of these issues, or in denial that it's a real problem. And I have absolute experience there : My mom brought it up every Sunday, only to realize now that those peaceful protests were just athletes using their platforms to try and bring change to America, not disrespecting the military, the flag, the country or anyone else. The White House is under siege as we speak. Wonder if these people are as satisfied as you are.
