Mid-Majors lining up but if he's as good as everyone thinks, the blue bloods will be all over him the next two years.

Need to continue to recruit this kid hard. He is just going to get better. Butler is going to be huge influence with this kids recruitment as well. Really excited that we have been building a relationship very early. One of the best shooting guards in the country and he not even a JR in high school. I hope he focuses on his defensive game.

Will be in high demand: MW, WCC, PAC & A10 schools so far. Would like the back court of Stephens and Butler reunited at SDSU.

He said he'd be committing not signing. But being a year early and this being an odd year, we have no idea if any commitment lasts 3, 6 or 9 months.

We also know that he's an ex-teammate and close friend to Butler, and has been close to the Aztec staff for the last two+ years. Perhaps he has loyalty vs 3, 6, or 9 months.

Maybe, but like ANY recruit that commits over a year early, the track record isn't that good. It's more relevant 3-4 months away from signing day than 12, especially with many other programs not having the full availability of scouting him & bringing him to campus. I've seen him play a few times, and he has a lot of holes in his game. A good player, but also someone who could improve his stock as teams see him more down the road, assuming he's fixed those holes. If that happens, who knows? I just don't put a lot of stock in way too early commitments, although it's better than having him commit elsewhere. At least we'd have the inside track until it actually gets real.
