More young kids throwing harder than their arms can handle. MLB clearly doesn’t have a clue how to mitigate these injuries.

Disappointing, but now is likely the best time to have it happen. When the season gets shortened, their impact is minimized a little bit. Both should be ready by late April next year.

I doubt you see them in April of 2021, as the Padres will baby both of them when they return. If, hopefully, they both come back healthy, you might see them during the 2nd half of the 2021 season, with serious innings limits.

I made a joke about the Padres changing their names to the San Diego Tommy Johns a while back. But Jeebus, this is getting a little ridiculous!!
