Start the countdown!
I would have started this sooner, but my hands are are kinda carpal tunnellish from squeezing limes. I believe I have hit the four gallon level, heading for five. That amounts to 640 ounces, so match that with an equal amount of triple sec and about 13 or 14 bottles of tequila, and well, that’s a good start! Con sal of sin sal?
I hope to have a VIP parking pass (thanks Matt Pohl) and set up in the usual best spot in the T&M, beginning on Thursday after we win the quarterfinal game (approximately 1:30 first pour. I’ll be driving my Honda CR-V. I’ll post updates on AM. Bring snacks! Bring ice!
Yes, it is true that Azson will be in Rotterdam with his wife where they will be under further consideration for their award-winning short film, with a chance to end up at Cannes! What a lime, er, lame excuse for deserting me! In short, I could use some bartenders to help me, while I mix the magic elixir. If you are interested, send me a PM.

Man, I'd love to join you guys for some heavy duty tailgatin', but my daughter's college bball team clinched top seed and will be hosting their own conference tournament the same week! Maybe I'll need to set up my own margarita party there for parents/fans...…..nah - squeezing limes is haaaaarrrrrrdddd. Genuine respect to Azdick for his annual Vegas soiree.

Asininely, the T&M has never supplied port-o-potties in their parking lot so be prepared to either hold it or find a bush/tree. Also, the T&M is notorious for their fickle in-and-out policies so, "I'll just use the bathroom in the arena and then come back out to the tailgate" might not be a possibility. Most important: Azdick's Aztecaritas don't mess around, so if seeing only one basketball on the court during the game is important to you...well, in the words of Walter White, "Tread lightly."  |

He's spot on about the kick of the Aztecaritas! I'm a pretty big guy and can handle my booze pretty well (Irish blood and all...  ) A rough guide for number of drinks, generic margarita vs Aztecarita, and the effect on me: # Typical 'Rita Aztecarita 1. Barely feel it Damn, that's got some kick 2. Mild buzz Starting to get a bit lightheaded 3. Pretty good buzz Can't feel my knees. |

I highly recommend current or recent students joining in on the festivities. I had a few aztecaritas with them in the parking lot in 2012 (I think?) as a recent grad and they are an easygoing group that likes to party. I’m glad the tradition is still alive, we started going the weekend of March madness instead but I miss rushing the court. 2 weeks of Vegas in March would be bad for my health though. |

Most of the time there is a person to stamp your wrist for that purpose. Make sure you ask multiple staff; the stamp person is normally stationed by the front entrance, to your right as you exit. |
