KJ going off like this is great, and I hope he can keep it up.....but we need Mensah back. I love Yanni's offense, but he's not quite as good as a low post defender. We need someone who can D it up in the post; otherwise we get beat down low, or help off of good shooters and get killed by good shooting teams.

Team stat of half: 12 assists, 4 turnovers. A team 3:1 ratio is nuts. The passing really gets me going. We have a team that is completely unselfish. The last couple of games Mitchell has been rather quiet, just 15 points total. I have to think he has been a target. Let's see what Hut throws after us. Big game on Tuesday. |

1) With about 3 minutes left in the game, KJ drives around his guy and has a good shot in the lane. He's been hot all night with 23 points already. But instead of taking the good shot, he sees Yanni under the basket and passes to him for an even better shot.
2) Mitchell gets the ball when Seiko dives on the floor to steal it and Matt heads for the other basket. But when Boise caught up with him, instead of driving to the basket with 2 or 3 guys on him, he slowed down and backed it off.
Two little things that speak volumes about this team. I love these guys and how they play.
And how much fun is it to see Aztecs hit shots after watching less than great offenses here for so long?
