Best win was at Kansas. Kansas has a 68 game home non-conference winning streak. Kansas had future NBA players: Embiid, Wiggins, Mason, Black. It was a remarkable game that had a bit of everything including that late out of bounds replay that went SDSU’s way and quality bench minutes from James Johnson!?! The end of the broadcast where it goes mostly silent in Allen Fieldhouse while the (somewhat stunned) Aztecs celebrate is priceless. Best loss was the sweet 16 game to Arizona that same season. Just a complete battle against future NBA players: Gordon, McConnell, Hollis-Jefferson. Tons of Aztecs fans in attendance at the Honda Center. X and Davis left absolutely everything on the floor and the image of them walking off after the game is forever in my mind. It sucked to lose this game but it’s one of the few losses that I’ve since gotten over and remembered fondly. That was one tough loss, but what a great game. I still remember Davis giving everything to secure those offensive boards that allowed X more 3 point attempts that kept us in the game. I was at a sports bar in AZ with U of A alums. They didn't talk their usual trash after the game.

For me the top game will always be the comeback win against New Mexico during the Sweet 16 season with X, Davis and Polee. Maybe that's because I was there and I only witnessed the other games mentioned on TV. I took my dad who is no longer with us to that game and my dad was a stoic and very quiet man. I got to sit there with a smile and watch my 70 year old dad absolutely lose his mind during that amazing comeback. He might be the oldest dude to ever storm the court in college basketball history! I was there with my pops (now 75) as well - is there anything better than a father and son in-attendance game like that? Sorry your pops is no longer with us, but I'm sure he's smiling on you and this current season, wherever he is.

Agree with all of the above. I'd also add: 1. Kawhi's 15 pts/23 boards in the 2010 MWCT final vs. Vegas 2. DJ's three most memorable games: a. last second teardrop vs. Vegas in the semis in 2011 b. buzzer beater @csu c. going ape$#!+ in the 2nd half @the Pit My favorite DJ highlight ever. I can still remember and visualize that play. Fisher doesn't call a time out as was expected. DJ gets the inbound pass, races up the length of the court along the left sidelilne and puts up the winning shot at the buzzer. A great pressure finish.

I'll be 75 within the next 90 days and my son goes to all the football and basketball games with me. We were there for that game as well. They're all great games to share between father and son, but one like that is truly special.
