Best win so far. First conference game on the road at altitude is no easy task. Sure a win doesn’t impress the east coast elites much but a loss would u fairly sink them fast. Let’s get to 10-0!

At 6:40 left in the game we were only ahead by 5 points. Nice 19-2 finish to win by 22.

Hard to believe CSU ever managed to get it within 4 points. The Aztecs just stepped on them after that. Win by 22. Holy cow! Crazy how a 19-2 FT advantage will keep you in the game.

As for FB games? I guess this is the future! I'm down with watching every FB and BB. I know it is not gonna reach the masses or build the brand but, I like it. I like it a lot! My biggest issue with the web cast, and I made this comment in the FB chat, was that 2 minute period in the 2ndhalf when they went to a live look-in to the New Mexico game and the picture-in-picture had that game twice the size of the Aztec game. When broadcast outlets do that, they generally make sure to do it during a timeout or other dead ball situation. Nope, not FB. They do it in the middle of game play, showing me a game I don't want to watch and making it more difficult to watch the game I do. Amateurs. /rant

They didn't even use up the entire screen either, a bunch of background scenes around the two videos.

I hope some of you made some good money on that 4.5-5 point betting line.

Matty Mitch made the Lambs his bitch, Sieko surprise, Flynn puts em in...but what happened to AG? I missed the first half? How serious is the injury? Anyone. Post-game Dutch said “unknown, we’ll evaluate him back in San Diego” Ziegler just reported it's a possible separated shoulder.

Just click on the Aztec's video feed and they go to full screen. You're welcome.

hard time watching this game, how did we only have 3 FT attempts going into the last 3 minutes of the game? Yanni and Nathan didn't force their will in the post....we settled for a lot of perimeter shots... I think a lot of that "force their will" was taken from them by the refs. Every time they got near Carvacho a foul was called. I wouldn't say the Aztecs settled, I would say they reacted, adjusted, and achieved success despite that . . .

Big win. On to the next one and get a 2-0 jump in conference before a little break.

Completely agree, especially considering the foul situation and Mensah's being sick. Even with all that, Carvacho only shot 5-15 from in the paint. I'd call that very good defense.

I disagree....we didn't go early and often into the post.....and we won because our perimeter players are flat out superior scorers to Colorado State's....Nice effort from Nathan considering he was sick as a dog.....

I had not heard Dutcher's remarks....that's how I saw the game...
If Yanni and Nathan are not working hard enough to establish position in the low post, our guards and wings, who are extremely skilled and know they can get theirs when ever they want, will shy away from feeding the post and take scoring into their own hands...will work fine against lesser teams such as Co.St....
IMO., we'll need the low post scoring vs. top 25 teams.

There is no blame to be had, we played elite offense (127.4 offensive rating is insane). No need to dump it down if you are getting great shots to start with

I hope some of you made some good money on that 4.5-5 point betting line. Easiest money I’ve made all year. I was shocked when I saw that line come out. I was thinking it would be -8 at least. I put down more than I usually do when I saw that.

It was very much not the best win so far, but good to take care of business I respectfully disagree. As Zeigler pointed out, this was their first conference opening win in four seasons. A loss and all the the national praise they've built up evaporates in an instant. The landmine games like this one are critical. Yes wins at BYU and against Iowa and Creighton are huge resume builders. Had they have lost one of those three, no biggie, but losing this one would have been a big negative deal.
