I prefer a good ol’ fashioned football fight to the stupid halftime climate change protest that delayed the Harvard Yale football game by over an hour. youtu.be/3u06u-rIGkUI’ll take an act of civil disobedience over a fight. Creative protest venue, so kudos for that. Why not leave after exactly 30 mins in a planned action versus punishment and fines. More people would support the move as it is less disruptive and just as impactful

Contrary to Murican propaganda, violent protest is actually historically the most impactful. I'll probably get drilled for my historically accurate post

U-NoLuV handled themselves like thugs as well, taunting the crowd instead of simply leaving the area.

I'll probably get drilled for my historically accurate post Using the phrase “never worked” puts your argument into a tiny box that is easy to disapprove. Calling it “historically accurate” that a single protest that impacted the convenience of others not never worked is a huge stretch. Without evidence, I’d tend to believe that violence would be more impactful, but not ideal to grabbing positive attention

This is an example of why Mormons might be despised so much. After the touchdown, Rebel quarterback Oblad, a mormon, says something to defensive back, Arnold. Arnold was just standing there, hands on hip just staring into the field. Oblad comes up from behind and says something to Arnolds face. Arnold responded with the punch to Oblad and a brawl ensued. Don't know what was said. No matter, good or bad, a good sport doesn't get in someone's face 10 seconds after winning the game. In most cases that's correct. However, what if there was some pregame or in-game trash-talk? I'm on the fence and admit, the answer varies depending on the teams involved. Like when Oregon's Blount said he'd run all over BSU and was held to less than 20 yards. The BSU guy who got decked said something about his pregame trash-talk. I actually thought that entire thing was funny.

The second part: It depends on who was violent...really. Like the labor riots hastened the passing of labor laws. Or how a 50,000 person riot put woman's suffrage on the map. Hell, gay rights advocates celebrate a huge riot for gay rights every year...that day is celebrated today as Pride Day.
