I hate to say it but, we will get demolished by BYU. Anyone can beat another on any given day has been a philosophy of mine for years. I will be attending with my daughter, who has been attending Aztec games with me for decades. She has never been to a game that we lost. Remember Stanford and Cal at home games? Yes, she was there. So you see, there is a chance as my good luck charm will be seated with me in Plaza 38. |

People said the same about Hawaii. Yeah, we lost, but they hardly demolished us. Which people predicted a demolition? The sportsbooks predicted Hawaii would win by three points and that was exactly the margin of victory (or loss, depending upon one's perspective). |

Depends on the attitudes of the kids. If they sense the season is over, then we might get demolished, stout defense or no. If they understand a season's ups and downs and get up for the game, and give it their all, maybe we demolish them.

Now that we are knocked out of the MWC championship game this game has zero risk for us and instead is an opportunity for payback on the zoobs.

When I first heard we were going to play BYU I was not happy. I still am not. It rarely helps us. There is no reason to play them. i'd rather play no one. Or, anyone. This is a really stupid way to end a season.

The score with be 14-3 BYU. I think the Hawaii game has taken a lot of juice out of the defense emotionally. It will be extremely hard for them to get up for this game since the current players don't care about this old rivalry. For this reason I think we will play a step slow on defense and sleep walk through a 28-3 defeat. The Saturday after Thanksgiving is always a difficult game to attend and attendance in the seats will likely be 20K tops. Of those fannies in the seats my guess is 12k will be BYU fans. Hope I'm wrong. I have season tickets but not too excited about attending this game and I know many fellow season ticket holders will be absent from this game. I will go but it will be hard to give these seats away if you can't or don't want to go. Terrible scheduling by Wicker! |

On a positive note, if the Aztecs come to play we defeat the kooogs, and for me the season is a resounding success

The fact is the Aztecs have been able to beat only one FBS team with a winning record: Wyoming. Since BYU has a winning record the odds are they beat SDSU.

I'm boycotting the game. They left us and our conference when they felt left out after Utah left... I'm with Rocky on this. I would have never scheduled this game. Four no show seats for us. Sorry JD.
The only good thing is BYU football has regressed since their fateful, spoiled decision.

this will be a bundle up time as temps will drop into the 40s during the game. this may make the top 10 coldest home weather games. it sure beats the 85 degrees for the new mexico game (hottest November game ever) in 2017.
