thought ends could be 0-49 and 80-99
think Kothe is #96 and Justice #93
believe numbers for positions are to help the refs on formations

Wow, the dude had some serious offers! I'm stoked he picked SDSU, but I wonder why when U$C and ND had both offered?

PT and being close to home. U$C has like 5 future NFL draft picks at WR on their roster right now.

Made a thing. Thinking about using it as a template for other Aztec player images. Feedback welcome

It's funny, but we've gone from having no significant threats at WR to now having two. Kobe Smith is a big threat receiver, and Jesse Matthews is a great possession receiver. They are complementary players. If we keep going down this path they could both have a big year! Also, Kothe is a big body guy with good hands. Add to that Bellinger at TE and Houston at H, and Agnew has some options. We will really get rolling if Dedeaux and or Busbee start getting open. Plus, I would still like to see Benson come in and stretch the field.

I don't know. Maybe it's a personal number to him, etc... It’s just really weird that the top WRs for a Division 1 program are #92, #96, and #45. Looks bad in my opinion We have had many great receivers with not so typical numbers over the years. Darnay Scott who played with Marshall Faulk had No. 6 for his number. That number usually goes to a QB, and we have had WR's with No.1. Our all time leading receiver J.R.Tolver had a QB number also. No.16. There are only 10 numbers to use in the 80's, so when you have a number of receivers on the team it is easy to see why a number in the 90's might be used. The 40's are usually saved for RB's, and usually used for fullbacks. But, since we have very few fullbacks there is no law saying it can't be used for a receiver. You seem to be complaining on such a very insignificant point. What does it matter what number they wear as long as they make plays and WIN?

Although, I do recall a couple of past games when announcers made comments about our WR's having a number in the 90's. Usually something to the effect of "he must really like to block". Now, does a young recruit hear that and think it's good, bad, or ugly? I have no idea.

I don’t care if their jerseys are 1/2 and 101, so long as they keep producing😎
