Amarillo awakens late, scoring 7 in the 9th to win the Texas league title, 8-3. Trammell makes up for his inability to drive in a run with the bases loaded in the 5th by unloading them in the 9th, with what proves to be the winning runs. Trammell was 1 for his last 12 AB's before the Grand Slam.
In the championship series, he hit .273 with 2 HR and 9 RBI. For the playoffs in total, he hit .310 with 3 HR and 11 RBI.
Congratulations to the Amarillo Sod Poodles, your 2019 Texas League Champions.
