Fly the Gach brothers to SD for a look. Maybe they want to play together some day soon. They sound like prototype Aztec players with the ability to play multiple positions and tough defense.
Do the Aztecs have much in the way of connections to the Sudanese community here? Might these be useful?
Have the brothers ever played against Arop?

I wonder if Gach is a contingency plan in case we don't land Chang or vice versa. Both seem like great athletes but about the same height.

Somebody should courteously inform Mr. Gach that he was very "blessed" to receive an offer from SDSU. There is no school offering him that better suits his style of play.

I was thinking the same -- there are already 4 freshmen in this class with 2 scholarships left (pending Jalen's decision). If they took both Gach and Chang, that'd be 6 freshmen in the class and use up all the scholarships. I would think that they'd want 1 of the 2 and then save the last one for a transfer or some sort or just hold it open like they've done in the past.

Gach has already visited SDSU this past week via Mark Z. This past weekend is what I heard.

Believe Ed Chang was here for an official visit to SDSU last weekend - per Zeigler. Not sure if Both was here ?
Both Gach ( per Zeigler ) Might be making a decision first among him, Change and transfer Malik Osborne . Some consider him the one of the best HS players still available this spring . Being looked at by Ducks , Utah, Lobos , and is currently visiting Texas Tech .
His stock soared during April evaluation with his club team, when he scored 32 and 28 points in back to back games . Per Both "My strength is I am a playmaker for my teammates . I can do a little bit of everything . I can score, get rebounds, and get assists . I have good handle , play most positions, and have length to use on defense .

Or maybe Dutcher is building for 2022 where we can start 5 4th-year players

Quality is what counts over quantity , if they are players that can make a solid contribution then you move on it . Very possible to get visits but getting them to SIGN is another .
Never know how long a player will stay . we could need players now if we lose Jalen .
Would we hope Matt M has a break out year and is gone after this year or next ?

Correct Both Gach was here this past weekend( not Ed Chang) and then Gach is off to visit at Texas Tech . He may make a selection before Ed Chang or Malik Osborn

Up to date story out of Lubbock and Red Raider Recruiting. Texas Tech is deep on wings and shooters and just signed 18.7 PPG Matt Mooney from SDSU (South Dakota State) Link below. "Mooney is the second graduate transfer to commit to Texas Tech in the spring, following in the footsteps of St. John’s forward Tariq Owens (6-11, 205) who signed his athletic scholarship agreement in April. Mooney and Owens join a 2018 signing class consisting of Henderson (Nevada) Findlay Prep guard Kyler Edwards (6-4, 195), Macon (Ga.) Westside forward Khavon Moore (6-8, 187), South Plains College combo guard Deshawn Corpew (6-6, 216) and Missouri transfer C.J. Roberts (6-0, 180). www.lubbockonline.com/sports/20180514/red-raiders-land-talented-south-dakota-graduate-transfer-guard-mooney

TT has 6'4" and 6'6" guards coming in already next year so I would think that would work in our favor.

It's kind of like "Who's on First?"
1: Hey, we signed Both!
2: Great? Who are they?
1: Both Gach!
2: Yeah, I'm glad we got both, but who are they?
