I disagree. A 45k to 55k stadium for $175 million? And we are proposing a 35,000 seat stadium for $250 million (and I fear it will go higher).

I don't even think we can build our proposed stadium for $250 million.

I lived to TN 10 years. Lived in Cal. 27 years. UAB must have fan and political support that we don't have. Yes they can build a stadium cheaper as well. We can't get Sacramento's attention. The State can help us get the land, and we better get their help.
Posting on this board will not get us a new stadium.
It seems to me the State could get behind our new President to get her the land to build a bigger Campus. She can play a card others can't.
I always hated politics, but if you don't learn how to play it your at a disadvantage.
We all have witnessed politics on our jobs.
My post was to make us see the big picture. Another poster asked where he could go to help out?
Having lived in TN. I got to see the power of the SEC.
Being an Aztec fan everyone needs to understand what a great job our coaches do with limed money and fan support.
I am just trying to say what they can't say.
We need Political support right?

The reason it makes no sense, at least to me, is the part that says "UAB lost football". Yes, they lost it, but got it back. Someone not paying attention might have assumed that UAB lost football, and would wonder why they would be building a stadium without a football team.

This should be in "other college sports". At least that's maybe where it should have started. But it does relate to SDSU and their attempt to get a new stadium.

UAB just tweeted out concept art from CSU's stadium renderings and tried to pass it off as their own.
This is what their stadium rendering ACTUALLY looks like:

My though when I posted was about the cost of a new football stadium and how it would be financed.
Yes they have football back after 2 years and maybe a new stadium.
Any ideas to finance a college football stadium is Aztec Related.
Yes politics plays a role and Scorer City is playing the game and we are not.
I try to keep posts simple and let others add to them.
