Let it be so oh great Montezuma! Even if Baker has a fine game vs BYU , adding competition can only be a good thing. We absolutely need someone new at QB who can compete to start next year.

Interesting. This would be surprising if true and obviously very positive. I wonder if something is in the works to open the offense up with a better QB. I can’t see him coming here unless he has been told things will be different with the offense.

hope they and you are correct . Would also be exciting if we ran an offense where the QB is the focal point -rather then basically a game manager

Saddleback QB Chance Nolan is going to Oregon State. An improved chance of landing Sears here? I'm assuming Nolan was already given the green light to sign with the Beavers, assuming Sears has made his choice not to go there. Oldie Out

Think that Nolan went for a visit to the Beavers and committed when he was there or shortly after - has 3 years to play . Canceled trip to Utah . Says he hopes to be able to compete for the starting QB . Believe they also have another QB recruit . They also have agreement from 2 OL

Seth Towns is the big get, pretty sure he has two years of eligibility left. But has chronic injuries.

Every single coaching staff in the country knows who tape is lol Another benefit of having upper class experienced, unselfish guard play. Not to mention 22-0 😆

We have 1 scholarship remaining for 2020 -21 season - so it could be helpful to still get a player - especially with the success of the players and the team . Have a successful run in MM could also add to the possibilities - as games go national and you know they will be talking about our transfers this year . Need a quality guy for the 5/4 position
We could also have another scholarship open up if Malachi has a good MM and gets into the NBA . Getting guys into NBA is very helpful for recruiting. So could need a guard . Although we have 2 Freshmen guards coming in and have 2 coming back for 2020 -21 . Also have a very talented SF coming in but he is coming in off an injury . Key word they are Freshmen so lack experience - very important for guards .
As mentioned then opens up the opportunities for the 2021-22 season
Should be interesting time for the Coaches trying to reload for the 2020-21 season and beyond - key keep winning and developing players
Quite valuable is the Development of Yanni - who went from a reserve on a P5 team to a very good player with the Aztecs Malachi and Feagin were already starters who were having good seasons at their previous schools. So would really push that even more .

I hope I am wrong but I think Flynn will pursue the NBA next year. With the uncertainty with Nathan I wouldn’t mine us pursuing the Mitchell brothers out of Maryland. Most would probably want a season guard if Flynn goes, but I think our bigger issue is in both the PF/C position.

Things could get real interesting if Malachi and Mitchell don't come back and what about Nathan and or Joel? Malachi- would be a bonus if he comes back Mitchell- Should come back to continue his progress and finish off a great Aztec career. Nathan- serious health concerns. Joel- doesn't seem to be catching on, maybe red-shirt or transfer out?
