Other than wichita state and possibly new mexico state, i believe all the others are playing its first game ever at viejas.

Not a very sexy 8 teams at Viejas although the 2nd round games could be pretty good especially if the Shockers and Mountain Men advance. There are some good coaches to watch with Huggy, Pearl and Marshall. |

Boise arena - got both Zags and Arizona - would have been nice to have Zags here and cheer them on

I know the NCAA does not allow it, but wouldn't it be great if the Aztecs could open NCAA play at home? It would be just as much fun as the NIT!  |

Almost all of these teams would help improve our OOC schedule. Who would you rather see on the schedule, San Diego Christian, Auburn, or West Virginia? |

Agreed...wish we would have gotten Arizona instead of Auburn. Wichita and West Virgina are fun and I'm looking forward to seeing NM State. Could've been worse, but certainly could've been better. As long as the games are good -- last time the games weren't all that exciting except for SFA if I recall correctly.

The draw Viejas got is trash. No top 3 seed, no real marquee teams.

One of the articles floating around has two of the Viejas games as being among the best in the first round, including the NMSU game. Might end up being more fun than we think.

For all if you going to Viejas, they won't have TV anywhere showing the other tourney games. At least they didn't the last time I went to Viejas. Don't know if that makes any difference to any of you, plus you can't get out and back in.nor will they sell any alcoholic beverages.

I will have fun at the tourney at Viejas, but there are no big name teams. This is the worst 8 team lineup I have ever had in all the years I have gone to the NCAA tournament early rounds. There are no teams from the Far West and the closest school to San Diego is NMSU which is 700 from here. |

Despite all that, Friday's pretty much going to be a dead day on campus, so no one around here is complaining about that…  You can probably tank up at Eureka or the Oggis in the Student Center (beer/wine only as I recall) between AM/PM sessions… |

Day 2 was very disappointing. The full house was ready for some good games! The auburn-Clemson game was the biggest blowout of the tournament so far and the Wva-Marshall game was close behind. Very surprised and disappointed by these outcomes....
Hopefully SDSU will be dancing in San Jose or Salt Lake next year and they can make up for these painful games in person
