Turns out he was correct about Jalen being the perfect fit. Class act recomending to Jalen he play here...essentially replacing himself after his decommit. looking how it worked out.. was the best move for both parties

It is delicious irony that Keith Smith, the decommit, is getting sparse minutes on a team that isn't in the Dance, while Jalen is getting big minutes and getting ready to play Houston.

I think that Juwan Howard deserves a lot more credit for Jalen's decision than young Mr. Smith.

It is impressive to have a freshman as the team's best free throw shooter, but even more special when he is 6' 10". Although he has exceeded expectations this year, I think there is still quite a bit of upside with Jalen. We will see more of his mid-range and even 3FG shooting as he continues to develop.

Writing of the O Ducks I couldn't help myself and HATE-watched those fellas all this season. I can only root against with that multiple transfer coach's kid ass, Brown. What was apparent to me was the lack of calls he (Brown) got on all of his draw-a-fouls moves. I thought it was one of two things that created this reversal of fortune for that guy. Either the refs call the Pac-12 differently or after watching his antics for 3 seasons, they were wise to him. I also wonder how many more games the Ducks might have won, had he not taken so many crap shots. Next season I can go back to a sometimes fan of the U of Oregon, as he will be gone. |

Both smith and cage jr got recruited by sdsu and signed with oregon. The sdsu conference championship was karma. Neither oregon player had a major role this season.

He was getting decent minutes 2 years ago on Oregons final 4 team, I think it worked out for everyone.
