Man oh man, what a run! Three weeks ago Azdick and I were discussing how early we were going to have to set the alarm in Palm Springs Wed morn (in order to drive to Vegas in time for Aztecarita tailgate before the 11 am 8/9 game).
Now our biggest concern is how drunk we're gonna get before we start trolling the Rehhhbuuuuhl fans on Wed 😁
We'll post updates when we're on the road on Wed morn to give an update on ETA for those of you who are going to be there.
And for the rest of you Aztecariters, see you Thurs! (First pour prob ~10:30 am Thurs).
Will post VIP parking lot location here when we confirm (they moved it last year to the other side of the median).

I was getting worried! This must be the latest countdown thread ever. We'll be there same as every year since 2007. Didn't care where they finished we knew we were going.  |

That was my plan too, but then I decided to stroll up to the box office last night and I got center court sec 107 row HH (fifth row) for $103. I could never get that close in Viejas. |

Just seeing those photos from 2016? brought back all my positive moments from past conference tournaments. I hope to make the drive after we beat fresno. Also, I did not buy the all session pass this year. I am a basketballaholic who is suffering from not being there. Hello: to my fellow aztecs fans.

We didn't buy all sessions this year, so we'll be out there as long as it takes to buy from losing fans as they walk out. They're using a very liberal in & out policy this year, so at the first between game break, I made it out to the party just as azdick & azson arrived and started setting up, so I got the rare honor of getting the first Aztecarita of the tournament! I've never had an issue going in and out...you just need to get a stamp on your way out. |
