What's the strategy for buying tickets?
All Sessions, single game or look for sellers in the parking lot?
If Aztecs lose early I doubt I'll want to stay, could change my mind on that, better than squatting with the one arm bandits, but I suppose it's better to just spring for the All Sessions, $220 ?, and get the best seats.

Buying an all sessions pass, and staying at the T&M for all games will probably save you a LOT of money vs going into the casinos.

Got the $220 all session pass. Last year's attendance was really bad. I'm hoping I'll be able to move around in seats if need be. Didn't want to pay the $250 this year!!

Depending on supply/demand... you can look to other schools for all-session passes. I bought an all-session pass for the 2016 tournament from SJSU (I was with my Dad and didn't really care about sitting in the 'Aztec' section, which I believe was sold out already).

I have never bought an all sessions pass since I started attending in 2011. If you are a smaller group it's not a problem. You can always get tickets from people who buy all sessions and don't want to go to all the games. If the Aztec game on Thursday is in the afternoon session it is easier to get even if we play UNLV. Definitely look for fans wearing the loser colors of Wednesday's games. Rarely have we had to even pay above face and if it is a session that is game 2 you can usually get tickets from fans who have extras and need to get into see game one of the session. I have bought tickets just to get in and then on the way in been given better tickets for free at the entrance just a few feet from the ticket taker. Even the year we made the final in 2011 vs. BYU they didn't sell out. The championship day is generally the easiest day to get tickets unless it was UNLV playing us. Good luck!

No travel well teams (i.e. UNM & WYO) expected to do well and UNLV not expected to do well either = tix at the arena/in parking lot easy to come by this year. We're not doing all-sessions this year for the first time ever.

I agree with AZSON. I thought last year that Nevada would travel well since they seemed to have the best shot to win the tournament and they did not at all represent.

Thanks for all the input. Looks like hanging out in the parking lot is the best way to get tickets, might even find free tickets.
Or put bluntly, the league sucks, and fans don't show up anyways. Sounds like a strangely somber atmosphere.

Right now, sdsu is on the 8 or 9 spot, meaning most likely nevada reno in game 2. Nevada scored over 100 points in last two games.

Right now, sdsu is on the 8 or 9 spot, meaning most likely nevada reno in game 2. Nevada scored over 100 points in last two games. We're only .5-1 game out of seeds 4-7, so a lot can still happen. Best case scenario is we get on a run and get the 3-seed (we're only 2 games back, so doable) so that we wouldn't have to face UNR until the final (which after back to back days of playing means hopefully their short bench comes into play). But you're right, our current position is the worst case scenario: not only would we face UNR on Thurs (assuming we even win the day before to make it), but the 8/9 game is at 11 am on Wed - so our fan turnout would probably be in the triple digits (or double digits) - UGH. If we continue to falter, the best case scenario would be to finish 10th, that would put us on the opposite side of the bracket as UNR and we'd at least have a reasonable start time of 1:30 on Wed. Doubtful this would happen though, Air Farce would have to have some huge upsets in order for us to fall down to 10th.

We're not doing all-sessions this year for the first time ever. Agreed. Lobo fans drive a lot of demand so your parking lot price will be less if they are out -- they certainly seem excited about their team right now so if they continue to play well I'd expect a lot of Lobo fans there.

Tickets absolutely will not be a problem now... Only tickets left are behind the baseline unless you want the balcony. So I'm assuming you mean those tickets you can get at game time being unloaded by All Session ticket holders?

So I'm assuming you mean those tickets you can get at game time being unloaded by All Session ticket holders? Each school gets an allotment of those sideline seats to sell so you aren't going to see them available (unless you call the individual schools). I’ve bought from other schools in the past and got great seats. Getting tickets when you get there is probably going to be the way to go.
