Why the hell is it taking so long for a new president to be hired. One that is eager to fight for bigger representation, and more respect for our school. We seem to get shoved around as if we're being led by a drifting air hockey puck.

Wicker said no mwc tournament at viejas in 2020 before one of the home games pre game broadcasts.

I'm perfectly fine with the tournament staying in Las Vegas.
just move it to the MGM arena though.
nobody even knows our tournament is in Vegas when we are there.
put it on the strip and it will help our conference marketability.

As long as they don't play it on the deck of an aircraft carrier or on the 3rd base line of a baseball park, I'm fine with either option.  |

Well JD, your understanding of the meaning of "compelling" needs a bit of work. Just because you convinced yourself, doesn't mean anyone else will share your opinion. Using success as a measure, this bid was as compelling as the bid to join the Big 12, and the arguments put forward justifying firing Beth Burns.

There are thousands of hotel rooms within walking distance of T and M. Hundreds of restaurants, bars, and nightlife options as well. Why move it out of Vegas? There is no better city for something like this.

Unless you LOVE casinos, the fan experience is complete garbage, i.e. pregame sucks, nowhere to tailgate, the casino layout from the parking lot to the arena is completely FUBAR. Stick with the T&M until a new arena with an outdoor/open-air parking lot is available. |

It just always seemed like a much better intimate game time experience in that smaller arena. But I have no problem with the T&M if thats where it stays. |
