USU is sticking around. Aztecs need to refrain from their usual second half drought, or it'll get dicey. If you mean that by sticking around, they haven’t been closer than 11 since halfway through the first half, well, OK. But USU is overwhelmed. They’re now down by 19 with 7:31 left. |

Max is more assertive tonight and it shows in his game, his confidence level is up. Also, Utah St has no bigs tonight and we are taking advantage and getting to the rim.

Utah State took Gonzaga deep into the 2nd half in Spokane. Potent offense that was neutralized by the Aztecs forcing 19 turnovers. Max finding his 3 point shot was nice to see. Good step in the right direction.
