Former Aztec D lineman Jamal Duff has also been in some movies like Dodgeball. I think the football team leads for most Aztec athletes who became actors Well toss in Carl Weathers and Fred Dryer and I don't know of any college athletic team who has had more. FSU had Burt Reynolds but no one else to my knowledge. There are hundreds of former college football players who turned FULL TIME actors (Not just famous NFL players who made cameos due to their fame...like the Dan Marino's, Deion Sander's, Terry Bradshaw's, and Jim Brown's) John Wayne Howie Long Ed O'Neil Dwayne Johnson John Matuszak Bill Goldberg John Amos Terry Crews Roman Reigns Josh Duhamel OJ Simpson James Caan John Goodman And these are just the famous ones. We don't really hear about the Miles Burris's of other schools. So, I vary highly doubt we lead the nation in football players turned actors lol. OJ Simpson? He was with Leslie Nelson in a couple of comedy Police Squad movies, so he was an actor at that time.
Also, what about our own Fred Dryer? He was on TV for a number of years as the Dirty Harry detective type in the Police Show "Turner".
