I still don't understand why we didn't get an invite to this bowl. Arizona vs Purdue is a totally irrelevant matchup that likely won't inspire either fanbase to buy tickets and book hotel rooms. SDSU vs Arizona would be a good regional matchup that both teams could travel to easily.

We would definitely bring a lot more people than Purdue. |

This is a Pac12/Big 10 bowl game. This week it looked like The Big 10 would not have enough teams to fill the bowl so that is how our name because involved. Because there was no Big 10 rep in the playoff the Big 10 had enough teams and we were bumped out. |

Wazzu may have shredded our pass D. Much more likely we beat Army than Wazzu and at 11-2 we would be in all post season top 25s. That would mean another 9 months of being able to proclaim we are a top 25 program at a time when public perception of our program needs to be as high as possible given all that's going on in Mission Valley.

The policy is that a big 10 team in the orange bowl means that they lose the big 10 rep in the citrus bowl bumping the big 10 back in the foster farms bowl.

The worst part is how cheap it would be to go to that game compared to any other bowl game. Flights to SF are like $150 that week. Tickets are $80 for nice ones and $20 for nose bleed. Plus I have family up there so I wouldn't need a hotel. Would have cost less than $250 all said and done. That's about half what it cost me to go to the ASU game.
