Barkley is like #29 or something in rushing this year, and Mayfield is a clown. Great choices.

This is like an old 80's teen movie about the haves and the have nots.
Typical theme here.

Barkley is like #29 or something in rushing this year, and Mayfield is a clown. Great choices. Exactly. Barkley does not deserve to even be in the discussion. He flat disappeared for at least 2 games. And Mayfield is a clown, he’s what he was grabbing on the sidelines last game. You know, I’m so over the NFL (not a Charger fan, so nothing to do with that). My love/passion for college football and hoops run deep, but times like this really make me view it differently. Kind of like life I guess, things aren’t always fair. The G5 are like the people of this country, while the P5 and NCAA are our government, in it for themselves only and screwing us over every step of the way ... and laughing all the way to the bank.

And yet, we'd kill for an invite to be a part of that system, haha.

I predict a aztecs blowout Friday and when the whole nation can watch, if interested. Penny gets 300 yards rushing.

Will yards gained in a bowl game be included in determining his total for the season?

Will yards gained in a bowl game be included in determining his total for the season? Yes, they will. Re awards however, all of the votes for all the individual awards are cast prior to Bowls- if you were wondering. I think several of the season ending All American teams come after the Bowls, I’m sure we will see Rashaad on several of those

That loss to Fresno is going to sting for a long while. No reason in hell should we ever lose to them with the talent we have on our team.

I feel this way about sports in general. I get invested in a team or games and suddenly I'm eventually disappointed. It's getting old. There are definitely more important things happening in life.

I agree with everything you say, but will point out that one could argue that Penny disappeared in a couple of games this year and we lost both of them.

and those were the games when we had an injured, depleted offensive line.

"I agree with everything you say, but will point out that one could argue that Penny disappeared in a couple of games this year and we lost both of them."
"and those were the games when we had an injured, depleted offensive line."
Both points of view are legit. Penny had no blocking those two games but he also seemed resigned to it. A national award winner needs to lift his team above whatever adversity it's facing. Maybe he just didn't have a chance, but those games are coming back to bite him.
I have no problem with Mayfield and Love being ahead of Penny. You can make a case for the RB from Auburn and, honestly, Lamar Jackson of Louisville is the best player in college football and it's not even close. But the over-hyped Barkley being ahead of him is really maddening.
