That is thinking big, but Notre Dame's stadium is not that large unless they have done some addition since 2008 when I was there for the Aztec game. The stadium that the Fighting Irish play in holds only 80K. You would think that a team like Notre Dame would have a stadium that holds 100K, or so, but they use to hold only 59,000 before they put in the addition to 80,000. it could be because they are in a small town, North Bend. Not enough population around them I guess to make it bigger than that. |
