Sounds like the perfect WO. Here's his overall recruiting summary from ESPN: "He's a big point guard who really defends, runs your team and is full of intangibles and while he has great size for his position he lacks top-notch athleticism or reliable three-point range."
Will be a great additional to the scout team. Always good with guys return home.

Pretty cool. Although it should be clarified he was originally from La Costa Canyon High in Carlsbad.

What is the player profile on the freshman guard ,Adam that we signed for this fall . Agree it helps our scout team if Patrick is walk on . If he went to a JC and played there could he graduate there and then have 3 years to play ? Rather then not really playing for almost two years when he is ready in 2018-19 ?

Asking questions is fine – it's answering them with absolute certainty that can be problematic....

Stan, do you ever do anything but ask questions? It's thought-provoking, rather than a handful of "experts" who tell us how it is (well, according to them of course). Asking questions is fine – it's answering them with absolute certainty that can be problematic.... It was a little harsh, but truth be told Stan often questions that he obviously already knows the answer to. It's almost as if he meant to enter a period and not a question mark at the end of the sentence. It's like me writing at this moment - "Is it 2:44 PM PST right now?" Other than that, love ya Stan. Keep doing what you do.

let's try- as a walk on - welcome addition . His profile does have some similarities to Adam 2017 HS recruit, but Adam I believe is a better offensive player then Patrick . Not sure if that should be a ? or ( . )

Not sure if that should be a ? or ( . ) Adam Seiko - ESPN Seiko is a beast with a chiseled frame. He is strong in transition with the ball in his hands and he generally makes good decisions. He has the savvy to locate open teammates and overall his ball skills are solid. Rivals Seiko is a tough as nails shooting guard for the Phoenix Phamily and one of the better defenders around. He listed offers from Rutgers, San Diego State, Pepperdine, Portland, Long Beach State, Pacific and UCSB. And Sierra Canyon junior Adam Seiko doesn’t put up huge offensive numbers but the 6-foot-4 junior does a lot of things that can’t be measured. A powerful kid with athleticism, Seiko is a big-time defender, sets crushing screens and seems to have a knack for making timely plays. He’s a grinder who helps his team get wins.
It is likely that Adam will get legit time and Patrick will get garbage time. For a walk-on to get more than garbage time, it takes a lot of hard work. Much more hard work than for other players and probably some luck "growth-wise" and in the gym. That is why they are walk-ons and not on scholarship.

Sorry Stan, Sieko is a real D-1 talent and plays against high level competition at a very high profile HS and AAU Team. Fisher is a walk-on. But, if he can shoot and play defense I am supportive.

That is what I thought the clips were for Adam . But had not seen them in a while . Solid team player , that makes his team mates even better but can add to the offense as needed . Also a rock on D .
Wonder if Patrick - former local guy - was the unidentified transfer that was mentioned the other week ? Should help the scout team this fall as a preferred walk on .
