Just listen to this one two NBA players in 20 years.Any of the other top 24 in attendance will have two in one season. It was average work here at best. Buh-bye. (And the crowd starts to chant - Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, good-bye!) Enough was more than enough. Plenty of chances were given to do something other than troll. At a certain point it becomes clear that someone isn't here to actually discuss Aztec athletics, but, instead, is here merely to piss people off. thank you Erik

And with that, let's talk about the 2nd greatest coach in San Diego State history (St. Don will always be 1st - unless and until someone wins a National Championship in their sport)...
Coach Fisher will definitely be missed.

Coach Fisher will definitely be missed. I can't argue with your ranking. I just never believed that the gap between #1 and #2 would be so small. Both of then brought their sports from absolutely nothing to heights not even the most fervent Aztec fan would have thought possible before they arrived on campus. They are both the finest quality gentlemen we could have wanted to represent us.

Dang, knew it was coming but hard to take. I just don't see the program reaching the heights it has without him. Fingers crossed for Dutch finally getting his shot, but not holding my breathe. The guy is just strange to me....I can't imagine he comes remotely close to making the impact Fish did in a recruits home.
I get the feeling it's now wait and see who the next coach will be.
(And yes, this post was a bit negative, sorry for that, I am not a negative person, but always tell it like it is)

GLOBAL MODERATOR YOU CAN CREATE ANY NUMBER OF LOG INS TO THIS SITE YOU CAN PUT SANCTIONS ON THE SHOW FOR HAVING THE RIGHT OPINION ALL YOU WANT YOU SHOULD BE PUTTING SANCTIONS ON PEOPLE FOR NAME CALLING ETC. NOT POSTING STATS ON WHAT THIS GUY DID. You're always an idiot....put a sanction on that.

Thank GAWD he's gone!!! Originalshow that is! This board will be so much better without him mucking up every thread. As for Fish, there isn't a person more deserving to ride off into the sunset basking in his life's achievements. I am eternally grateful to him for bringing Aztec basketball into national relevance. I'm a little nervous about the future, but I'm also optimistic that he put us in a position to grow the program even more. We are now a known entity thanks to him, hard to believe considering the state of the program when he came here. Thank you for everything Coach Fisher!! (& thank you AztecPanther!)

Stats do not lie don't be mad at me I did not cause him to fail. So have you worked to be a miserable piece of crap or were you born that way? Seriously, learn to show some class. You are nothing but a miserable punk that talks a big game behind a keyboard. Steve Fisher is the best thing to happen to SDSU since Coryell. On a day that we want to just enjoy his efforts you want to run around and piss on Fisher's accomplishments because you have some sort of inferiority complex. I dont know what kind of pathetic life choices you made to get you to this place, but spare the rest of us from your ignorant bile. In short, go away.

No need for anyone to pile on. I should have read this post before making my last post. Quick twitch strikes again.

Legendary, man has done so much for SDSU athletics. I've personally gotten so much enjoyment out of multiple runs made by his teams over the years. Always handled himself with such class both in victory and defeat. The world would be a better place with more Steve Fishers in it....

Thanks for making my college experience that much more exciting Coach. I met and created amazing experiences with some of my best friends in college over SDSU basketball seasons and everything that came with them. One of my finest memories was selling a pair of Jordan Flint 14s in order to afford a road trip out to Tuscon to see my first NCAA tourney game - that double-overtime thriller against Temple with my best friend. We also had to find a ride out there so we carpooled with some fellow sdsu students who we found on The Mesa. Steve Fisher - GOAT #SDSUclassof2010

Jimmer is a still an overrated punk. He just did that for the pub and people will think he is a "nice guy". F him.
I think the weed fumes this season were just too much for Coach Fish. I heard rumors that Bill Walton was interested in a coaching job with the Aztecs. Talk about a train wreck. I wonder if the NCAA allows tee pees for recruiting visits.
