Just a piece of advice...you need to squeeze enough limes to last 3 days since the Aztecs are going all the way to the Championship game (and NO...they won't be playing on Wednesday for all the negative Nellies non-believers in the crowd)...

...to start the Aztecarita countdown? 22 days and counting to T&M! Current status: Approximately 3 + gallons of limes squeezed. TEquila and triple sec purchased. Approximate Aztecaritas predicted = 10-12 gallons. (Azson and I make strong Aztecaritas.) Of course, we know where the best liquor stores are for reinforcements.  Standby for daily updates. Azson will post locations and times for pre and post game victory celebrations. No thanks. I prefer the piece and quiet of Earl Wilson in April, housing an Aztec-Rebel baseball series, with a hand full of other Aztec supporters. I just know you guys are a barrel of yuks, but struggling to watch yesterday's game, it finally dawned on me, this could be the first season in quite some time the team doesn't reach the twenty win plateau. That would be disappointing for Coach Fisher. Just made me miss The Aztec Bowl that much more. Remember kids, for those driving to Vegas, there's still plenty of "suitable for wearing" Aztecs caps at the Flying J in Barstow...  |

Just trying to support my team and bring some excitement to the T&M. Don't consider my experience with my fellow Aztec fans a "barrel of Yuki ," rather, a way to build some spirit for the team we care about. And oh yea, Azson and I were there in 2002 when NO ONE cared about MBB, and we sat around the thousands of Wyoming and Rebel fans , and nevertheless rooting on our team. Hey, what happened next...the Aztecs won and we not to their first Dance since 1985. Whatever happens, I'm there for more than Yuks. |

last year, we drove up for the championship game on Saturday and had a couple margaritas with Azson and Azdick. It was quite the Aztec party. Looking forward to it this year. Hope to make it up for Friday and Saturday. Good times with good people.

Let me know if anyone can find a decent hotel rate. I found a cheap hotel in Las Vegas. The Regal Motel has rooms for $43 per night. Unfortunately it is in Las Vegas, New Mexico. |

my reservations are through the i4vegas website. checking that website, most city of las vegas are a minimum of $150 a night. it may not be in the city but primm Nevada at the stateline has cheap rooms under $60 a night. that would mean driving the half hour into las vegas. vegas will be jumping this year with the pac 12, wcc, wac and mwc tournaments as well as 200,000 con ag convention attendees.
