So, will they allow one of their teams to be co-located with the national HQ for strippers, hookers, sports gambling and all-night discos filled with groupies? Nothing could go wrong there with a bunch of millionaires in their mid-20s! I know money talks in that world but the NFL just compromised the reputation of one franchise in its pitiful pursuit of money, so will they allow a second team to implode its reputation in the LV environment? And if they do vote down the move to Vegas......what might come next for the Raiders? You do the math.

I'm guessing it's been awhile since you've been in Vegas, (if ever). The fact is, Vegas is a growing city with a number of upscale communities, (but still signs of "old Vegas", Maryland Parkway is still a 24/7 "lifestyle"). But the fact is, it is my hope by the middle of 2018 my wife and I will be living there full time as she cuts back on her flying.
I've always had my doubts regarding major league franchises in Vegas, (residents always had short attention spans). But now though I'm still of the firm belief that those that frequent sports
books will not have the resources, or desire, to attend these types of games, it will be the residents of Green Valley, Summerlin, Lake Las Vegas and Red Rock who'll pony up the money to be a part of incoming NHL and possible NFL franchises, as well as, of course, the hotels, oh the hotels and the high rollers who want to be pampered in an NHL or NFL suite.
(For the record, I could both, and though I look forward to hockey returning to Vegas and renewing my relationship with the Raiders from my days in LA, I trust I'll remain a loyal habitat of the books, as I would rather make money on sports when I can).
So the reality is, as San Diego will always have the Aztecs, if you are a serious sports fan, there would seem to be no better place than a very a aggressive Vegas. They obviously are trying to think big. More power to them.
