Over/Under 12 months after the Chargers leave town, Acee doesn't have a job at the UT anymore and Scott and BR are off the air?

Love to see Chargers stay if its downtown. SDSU and the region need Qualcomm property.

You'd think Fabiani would give it a rest. It's so transparent when an article comes out citing how the team has a hard on for LA and how awesome being a tenant is going to be. As for the 175M gap. Of they approve the Raiders they can funnel their 100M for Oakland. Just not buying the NFL is prepared to lose both Oakland and San Diego. Bad look all around.

Just not buying the NFL is prepared to lose both Oakland and San Diego. Bad look all around. Well, of course they'll spin it that the 49ers will just carry the entire Bay Area market without the Raiders (implying no loss), and that the two LA teams will carry all of "Southern California" (within which they will just include all of San Diego... again, implying no loss), then noting how they are adding the LV market... spinning it as no loss, overall gain, and adding a big new market. We know that will be totally disingenuous... but who cares... theirs will be the narrative carried by 80% of the media.

They could try and spin, but the story is they lost three NFL cities in two years. That's a huge PR hit when they have enough problems as it is.

This consultant shows just how full of shot people are. Does he actually think that fans will show up for a football game because the stadium is nice? Really?
Anyway, just leave Dean. We need Mission Valley. The people won't build your sorry ass a stadium.

Just what kind of sources does a guy in Gainesville writing for Bleacher Report have? He hasn't been right about a single thing yet. His only "source" is Fabiani.

I didn't realize the Chargers could be 3-11 but will still sell out the new LA stadium because it is nice. Silly me.

With deadline looming, San Diego faces heavy lift to keep Chargers www.espn.com/blog/san-diego-chargers/post/_/id/19146/chargers-listening-but-san-diego-still-faces-heavy-lift-to-keep-team"Complicating matters, the city and county’s portion of public funding requires a countywide public vote of a simple majority to unlock funding. According to the Chargers, the earliest a successful public vote could be held would be November 2018. And with public funds being allocated from the general fund, the Chargers have reservations that such a vote would pass. Based on past polling the team conducted, a public vote that includes money from the general fund would receive 30 to 35 percent support from the public. The team also still has concerns with environmental and legal entanglements with the Mission Valley site, and it is leery about the possibility of San Diego State raising $100 million toward the construction of a new stadium."Go SDSU WEST! Go AZTECS!

Just what kind of sources does a guy in Gainesville writing for Bleacher Report have? He hasn't been right about a single thing yet. His only "source" is Fabiani. Bad enough that he writes for Bleacher Report which until 2-3 years ago supposedly had nobody under contract and just accepted submissions which, if published, resulted in a check based on the number of words. So when it comes to sources, that suggests he's pretty much Peter King's opposite number. The double whammy is he's 3000 miles from San Diego, which suggests he probably hasn't exactly been overhearing barroom conversations by people who really are in the know.

Jason Cole is a quality reporter and blew the lid off of the USC/Reggie Bush situation. He's a notch below Sam farmer but 2 notches above Vinny Bonsignore and Kevin Acee. He is tapped in.

Well, they are either staying or leaving. Got a 50/50 chance of being correct. Either way--for God's sake, Dean. Make a decision.
