gundo had scoop on him March of 2016 . Sure hope we can get him in for a visit and of course the Verbal / signature . Believe I read that he had lost his father , so the " Aztec family " could also be of some importance . Expect as noted that numerous very highly rated schools will be trying to recruit him .

Gundo was all over him and correctly so... I am not saying he is KL, but he could have a similar path... I think he would be the best Freshman big we have had on campus since Slaughter and likely before... He could have a really solid freshman year and then have a breakout sophomore season and get into the 1st round...

He's a legitimate NBA prospect with his length and athleticism Some folks sleep on west coast players. Update 20185 guys we're after will be very good college players: - Bryan Penn-Johnson - is 7'0, high motor and IQ, long length, just gets better & better - Nathan Mensah - will be 7'0 and has put on strength, skilled, can pass and defend - Logan Johnson - jack of all traits, can shoot and attack the basket - Tevian Jones- think Jamal Franklin and can shoot + - Jamal Bey - True wing, can shoot and play inside, very quick 2 guys 5-star guys looking beyond SDSU, will be accomplished:- Taeshon Cherry - Jules Bernard No doubt about these guys.

Gundoaztec, what is the wing span of Nathan Mensah? I watched him at Lincoln High and it looked like he has a long wing span.

Does EVERY kid want to go to AZ?

Does EVERY kid want to go to AZ? Who wouldn't, I'm sure their pitch is compelling. Hot miserable sweaty walk to class, sand and cactus as far as you can see, only a 2 hour drive to the "trailer down by the river". Who can resist?

Adding Romar to assist in the AZ recruiting pitch was brilliant.
They already got a guy that can coach.

Miller turned the program around, after Lute Olsen AZ was mediocre. Millers first season was 15-16, last year 32-5. Hard to believe he has only been there for 8 years.

Dude... it's a gorgeous campus (in many ways), nearby mountains are great, school is pretty strong academically and it's one of the two true "blue-blood" programs on the West Coast (with UCLA).

Well said. I'd add Oregon to that west coast mix now though, but UA is an ELITE basketball program! Not only out west but top 10-15 nationally. Big time support; big time tradition. They're alumni scrimmages during the summer are incredible, and that game alone attracts a lot of kids. Plus, for a So-Cal kid you can get away from home, which many want, while still be close enough that your family can attend games on the weekends if they want to. It's a great combination. Basketball is an INDOOR sport. They don't have to practice in 100 degree heat, and there are a lot of hot women there as well in sundresses all year long. As a HS basketball player why wouldn't you want to go there?

PS. It's very possible UA may not want BPJ. Bol Bol, Nazreon Reid and Jordan Brown are also very high on Arizona's list & more likely to be a priority for them. I think Bol Bol is priority #1 inside. BPJ is among the lower ranked bigs they've offered.
