Should be on the poli board.

Should be on the poli board. This should be here. It is about the accual science. The only argument for putting this kind of thing on the political board is the refusal of those willing to cripple our economy to recognize the empirical data that refutes their claims.

So your "Well, hell, even the Left can no longer believe in Marx, so it has to believe in something." was a purely scientific statement?

But as aztecwin says, the important thing here is the actual science as explained in the linked article. Azwm

Another blow for Climate Change! Remember when they wanted to arrest & jail any climate change deniers? In the news today... www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/may/9/obama-wh-shows-bad-faith-global-warming-case-judge/I heard about this Professor Ray Bates whom the false reports Globalists are using! He just wrote a new report that his past studies about Carbon dioxide CO2 models have been fatefully flawed! This report has been buried and not being reported because it doesn't fit the narrative! I thought science was supposed to objective not subjective with an agenda? Prof. Bates' current research interests are in the theory and modelling of the global climate. He is particularly interested in the mechanisms that keep the global climate stable at its current equilibrium and that determine its sensitivity to external forcing such as that due to CO2 increase. He is involved in the area of estimating climate sensitivity using global energy balance models and responses to surface temperature variations derived from satellite measurements. Oxygen O2 has always ranged between 20.67% & 20.946 %... By volume, dry air contains 78.09% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen,[1] 0.93% argon, 0.039% carbon dioxide, and small amounts of other gases...

The majority of meterorolgists are skeptics. Just based upon this writer's phrasing I doubt he was ever a skeptic. Notice the temperature chart that shows big warming 1910-1940 when CO2 could not effect it. And the cooling 1940-1970 when CO2 was increasing. That is called bad correlation.

Global climate is changing. It has done so many times. My own opinion is that the warnings coming from many sources are overly pessimistic. I certainly hope so, since there is no way in hell that mankind either can or will do anything to change global climate. We're just going to stumble along with warnings, meaningless treaties, and continued use of fossil fuels. On that last point, we may well devise a new, practical source of energy, perhaps hydrogen fusion, which will solve most of our problems.
Anyway, where is it written that we will never have to face the kind of climate changes that mankind has struggled with many times? Ever hear of the ice age? Or should that be ice ages!

Of course climate changes! That is what cycles are all about.

"climate change" just brought the state of California out of a drought. Whether climate change is influenced by man or not, GO climate change!
