Baker holds offers from California, Nevada, Oklahoma State, Providence, Rice, San Diego State, San Jose State and USC, with three of those programs currently standing out for him.“Cal, USC and SDSU,” Baker listed, before breaking down what he likes about all three programs. California: “I really like the coaching staff; it’s a real family atmosphere around there.” USC: “I really like the coaching staff there too. I like the tradition at USC and I like the location since I’m from the L.A. area.” San Diego State: “My sister went there so I’ve been down there a lot the last few years. I really like it down there; the atmosphere is crazy.”www.scout.com/college/basketball/recruiting/story/1617180-three-stand-out-for-jemarl-baker

Hate to say it but USC MBB is on the up swing . Did beat us out for transfers and HS recruits this year and last year .

Completely false, given there vast improvements from last year unless Enfeld and crew completely tank in the pac-12 and win like 0-2 games he will definitely be back. They are set up for a lot of success next year.

They are set up for a lot of success next year. USC has gone 10-21 and 11-20 in his two years including 2 and 3 PAC12 wins respectively. They may be better and he may keep his job, but there is very little yet that is different than the last two years as he had 8 OOC wins each of the last two years. So maybe he comes back if USC wins 7 or 8 league games and he is gone if they win 2 or 3 again. In between, a toss up. Actually, I take that back. He is 5-31 in conference. If he wins 5 PAC12 games he will be 10-44 over three years and gone. I think he will have to win 7 league games.

They've had good recruiting classes each of the last 2 years though so I think they might give him time for the young talent to mature, and if he can't do anything when they're upper classmen then they would can him. But we'll see

right now main concern at USC is getting their football team in order . Do not think they are going to toss the current MBB team to add more chaos. they are off to a great OOC . But soon the season comes up and the PAC is very good . Would guess they want to see progress , do not expect miracles . As we have seen even in MBB , you can not turn it around that quickly .

This was always going to be another rebuilding year to USC as they are still extremely young, and they have shown extreme improvements. The odds of him being fired are extremely slim.

Nobody expecting anything out of them last year for 1 reason - they were the 4th least experienced b-ball team in the entire country. This year they're around the 40th least experienced team, yet they're having success. I don't think anyone expects a NCAA invite, but I also don't think anyone will be surprised if they get a NIT bid. Enfield's going nowhere. He has ZERO seniors in his rotation; next year they'll be a NCAA tourney team.
Very similar to the UW team. This year they're the 4th least experienced team in the country & they lose 1 senior, replacing him with arguably the best PG recruit they've ever had. Romar can SUCK in P12 play & he's still not going anywhere.
Fans look at records; AD's look deeper.
