William Tuihalamaka - 6ft 5, 350lbs. True Freshman. The next Carlson Leomiti? He brings the size though. Oldie Out He is a big kid and I like all of the o line recruits this year but it will take a very special player to start as a true freshman, Very rare.

Why do you think Slater is a better option than Miller? Has a year under his belt plus the JC experience and he is a all conference player.Miller only has a spring game on his resume. Not sure that equates to a better option at LT. I want whoever is the better pass blocker. Miller has less game experience, but has been in the program longer. Slater will have to improve his lateral quickness to man the left side. We'll see how it plays out.

That brings up an interesting question ... are we a still run first team and are we looking for better run blockers to open holes than we are pass blockers to protect the QB?

I hope we are always.A run more team thats what got the football program at least to this level and now you see the coaching staff recruiting and getting transfers at QB that will bring the program to the next level.

Well. I think that he has 3 out of 5 correct.... I think all but Flores are likely to be correct (barring injuries).

Difficult to predict because practice has not started and players get moved around after that.Yea Flores im not sold on playing center and remember this guy does not follow or talk Aztecs football day in and day out.

Why not Flores? I like him at center he has the size and mobility, with Flores at center we are huge on the offensive line. He looked good at the spring game, moves people off the line.

I can only assume that Steele has someone here looking personnel and making these projectons. Which one of you bozos thinks the incomig true freshman will start at WR? Hell, you could be right!!!!

Last year we had the best RB , and possibly the last 3 years but no championships . Sooner or later you need a quality QB to win the close games against the better teams or not lose it . plus the ability of your OL and DL to try to control the line so your skill players can make plays . Also remember the rules are slanted for the offense so you need the QB to be come through in the clutch . Even a good D is not going to totally dominate the other team .

I suspect Greene was lining up with the second OL this spring because of being in the doghouse rather than being beat out by a tight end. If that is the case I hope whatever the issue is will be settled by fall camp.
