Cheating should be punished.

I don't understand the big deal over underinflated balls. Let the QB have the regulation balls the way he wants them our have the NFL manage them.

I still want to see the tapes they had before the Pats beat the Rams, I don't believe there was nothing on the tapes! If there was nothing then show the tapes to the fans & erase all doubt. The NFL screwed the pooch in that deal. JMO

It is called cheating - just like the Patriots have done in the past. It is a pattern that should be punished at the higher level where control should have been maintained.

I agree with the cheating sentiment in principle. How many sports teams have been suspended for equipment violations? Greased uniforms in football, pine tar or Vaseline on baseballs, corked bats, stickum on gloves, etc.

Suspending the team from post season will send the message to play the game and stop gaming the rules.

Bill, I think every team and many players try to push the rules to gain an edge. I don't see this as any different and think the issue is too minor to make a big deal out of. Frankly, I think the rule should be dropped and let the teams inflate as they like as long as they don't alter the balls.

I'm not sure how slightly deflated football's is much different than players oiling uniforms our receivers using stickum and I certainty don't compare that to spying at closed practices.

I don't care. It's just entertainment. Big deal. There are way more important things in life.
