In direct answer to the original question what does it cost.....I don't know, but I'm willing to bet it's a lot more than can be sustained by the 15,000 folks in attendance. The "original question" was about Pac-12 opponents and we always get more than double that amount for them. I'll admit to a little sarcasm for the 15K figure, but even with 30,000 in attendance the premise remains valid, and I don't think the Aztecs can make a habit of bringing in PAC-12 teams. Get ready for more E. Washingtons, USDs, and South Alabamas. Might get better opposition with an increase in ticket prices; but how's that going to play in accessbowltime-ville?

I wonder how hard we have tried to get a home-and-home series with schools such as Iowa State, Purdue, Rutgers, or Maryland. Or Kansas, Kentucky, and Northwestern. Those are not as attractive as Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama, etc., but our chances of luring one of those to the Q are basically not even slim. Fairly often posters complain about the lackluster character of our home opponents. I don't disagree, but it's getting harder and harder to schedule P5 schools to play here. The only thing left to do is to win and win big, both here and away. Who coaches the team is one thing our administration can control. AzWm
