Are there P5 member who are forced to rely on ESPN3? No. That's actually not true. Plenty of P5 teams have games both in football and basketball on ESPN3. For example, UNC, a top 25 team, opens the season (football) on ESPN3.

Now that the SEC has their own network I imagine that will be less of a case now. My cable provider has the Pac-12 Network, the B-Ten Network and now the SEC Network -- I don't know if the ACC has a Network. The point I guess I am trying to make is that somehow the P5s don't often have games exclusively on the internet.

Christ, they're playing Liberty for gawd sakes. Small wonder that game is relegated to a cell or tablet screen. A snoozer like our MBB playing San Diego Christian. Let's be more specific. Show us a P5 team playing one of their conference games on ESPN3. Hair is so stupid he probably insisted on playing a multitude of our conference games on the internet while the ESPN negotiators bit their tongues to avoid bursting out with laughter.

Google chromcast and an Internet connection allows you to watch ESPN3 on the tube. Don't you need to have a partner cable provider? Direct TV subscribers are left out. You're almost right. DirecTV subscribers are the ones that need partners. Just find someone who has another cable provider. Partner up. It's very simple.

Also, even Kansas plays a game or two on ESPN3 most seasons.

In basketball, yes, I have seen P5 conference games in the passed on ESPN3. Another thing to remember is that, although these games are initially announced on ESPN3, they can be switched to ESPNU a week or two before the game. This happened to us twice last season, I believe. My point is, SDSU will be ok and let's not overreact.
