Hands will be a junior this fall and our JAM center opens this fall. We got at least one year to keep his interest and I think he is interested in sdsu. Just a hunch, have no insider knowledge. Certainly more interest in us than Leaf had. We just gotta prove it on the court that we can go to another level much like how we are regularly getting 4 star players now when in the past we were happy with just getting 3 star guys like Malcom and Billy White, etc. Those guys tured out great. With that said however I would be thrilled with Justin Moore. Have seen him play 5 times since I'm a Mission Bay alumnus. He's quicker than DW and can create his shot better than Zabo. Hes taller than both too. Overall he's an upgrade over those two.

If Hemsley locks down the position this year, Moore would be a sub until his senior year (sans red shirt or JH leaving early). I can only see him coming if JH struggles this season and leaves Moore a chance to dream of starting.

Why do people still think we are interested in him? He's probably Nevada bound. Him and Cyrus have been largely downgraded by most recruiting services. Others I would want who are trending in the opposite direction are Jonah Mathews and D. Melton.

I can only see him coming if JH struggles this season and leaves Moore a chance to dream of starting. They probably could play at the same time. I dont see Hemsley as a pure PG (though he could be a great PG for us), he seems more like a really good playmaking guard. He's 6'4 and has a lot of bounce/athleticism. Needs a better jumper but he has a pretty good mid range. He could probably play the 2 while Moore played the 1. But with Kell also at the 2, Moore wouldn't definitely wouldn't have a whole lot of minutes initially

As previously mentioned Mathews is due in for a visit end of next week after JAM Center is opened . Melton mid September. Both are rated in top 100 .

You can never have enough Lead guards, and Hemsley (& even Kell) are very talented & can play multiple positions. In the end, you want your 5 best PLAYERS.
I wouldn't think Moore is priority #1, but if others pan out he may be Option 1. So gotta keep him in the loop until we have the class in the books.

I don't think Moore is a SDSU level recruit, not trying to bash the guy, he is good. He has his positive traits, but I wouldn't even have him as a backup plan. SDSU has had PG's that can score, I do not think Moore is a guy that projects to score much the high major level. And him and hemsley playing together is a bad idea, both are best with ball in their hands, and neither are spot up shooters.

In 2017 we are recruiting (4) high level PGs: Howard, Hands, Smith and PoPoola. Moore isnt the same caliber.

Always felt he was better than D'Erryl for what that's worth.
