Liberalism (aka most of our Federal Government policies and programs today) = Moochers electing Looters to steal from Producers. Typical. No addressing the issue raised, just parroting conservative shibboleths. . There is no issue at hand. Some senseless babble from that guy gets you this kind of response. At least people might find some wisdom in what I post since there is none from Krugman. Linda Burnett, 23, a resident of San Diego, was visiting her in-laws and while there went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries. Later, her husband noticed her sitting in her car in the driveway with the windows rolled up and with her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head. He became concerned and walked over to the car. He noticed that Linda's eyes were now open and she looked very strange. He asked her if she was okay, and Linda replied that she had been shot in the back of the head and had been holding her brains in for over an hour. The husband called the paramedics, who broke into the car because the doors were locked and Linda refused to remove her hands from her head. When they finally got in, they found that Linda had a wad of bread dough on the back of her head. A Pillsbury biscuit canister had exploded from the heat, making a loud noise that sounded like a gunshot, and the wad of dough hit her in the back of her head. When she reached back to find out what it was, she felt the dough and thought it was her brains. She initially passed out, but quickly recovered. Linda is a blonde, a Democrat, and an Obama supporter, but that could all be a coincidence. The defective biscuit canister was analyzed and the expiration date was from 2008, so it was determined to be Bush's fault.

They keep saying Medicare is cheap. Technically, it is. Premiums are pretty low. Factually it isn't. Because it is broke just like every other program government runs. And sooner or later you have to pay the pauper. the most inefficient, over bloated and unaccountable institution we have is government on all levels. You can rationalize and justify big government all you want, but the bottom line is .....fail.

Krugman is a liberal. Liberals are liars.
One only need consider the "if you like your doctor, if you like your plan" lie from the liar-in-chief.
Therefore he is a liar.

Well, you invited the responses with this original comment. Hate for the government by conservatives? The patronizing comment that the government the 'cons hate is us. Really? The same people that make up the larger part of your military, sworn and happy, no Honored to defend this great country, the flag, the people? If you want level, rational discussion, perhaps it's best to start it that way. Not a sermon, just a thought. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards

The gentle reader can make their own determination. I've made my point and counterpoint to the assertion you made that Conservatives hate the government which conveys to us. I think my point is clear. They can decide, unlike some here who seem to think that conservatives are too radical, hate the government and the people, are crazy, etc (words all gleaned from recent threads). As stated, the gentle reader can choose who and what they believe based upon what is psotted here. Not interested in your little games.

If a person were to dignify any of the musings of this writer, they would be a fool. Just one example is the suggestion that Krugman makes that we should simply extend the Medicare program to cover everyone. How can you give any credence to a person who would expand a program all ready in trouble to cover everyone? How can you pay for a program that is really closer to a Ponzi scheme than an insurance program? An even bigger hoot is the person who posts a link to such a conglomeration of idiocy and then title it "Some Krugman wisdom"? Some wisdom indeed!

The point of this thread aside... 78, your comments recently have moved from valid arguments and conversation about policies, to blaming/playing the victim/nitpicking. Disappointing.
