We have been talking a lot about the 2014 class highlighted by our new commits Zabo and Kell. We are done in 2014 regarding 1/2 guards. Content with what we have for future years I still know we all want LOVETT at SDSU. I haven't heard much and it is very speculative this early in his recruitment, but what has been going on with his recruitment? With his talent it is always a hope, but DAMN he has got a ridiculous game. Talk about taking over a game and thats Marcus... Most of you are focused on '14 but what is the word on him this early in the recruiting game?

SDSU has no shot. Our best chance of landing a top 2015 PG is Sedrick Barefield or New Williams. Also doing a good job with Cameron Walker and Marquess Chriss who are national recruits.

Barefield is definitely nice. Thx for the update.

Barefield is a stud. Not sure we go hard after a PG in 3 straight classes at this point though. We'll see who the staff prioritizes this winter after we get our 2014 guys signed.

Kendall Small is also really good, although there's already a lot of programs on him

Marcus Lovett's a beast, but I think 2016 Derryck Thornton Jr. will be the best PG on the West Coast this year, even though he's only a sophomore. I think he'll be top 10 overall nationally by the end of his junior season.

What happened to Marcus Lovett? He is a 4-star guy with good film. He teamed up with the Clips Jamal Crawford over the summer, and yet no offers (beside 3 old ones from UCI, UCLA and SDSU) No press, no nada? There's gotta be something up? School, grades, attitude, parents, he's falling off the face of the recruiting earth. I guess the kid doesn't play AAU ball maybe that's the issue?

Recruiting is far from the world, too bad for Williams's injury, tho I'm not sure people think of him as a pg.

The irony is, none of the kids on last years initial list signed with the Aztecs.

I will admit I was wrong on small and Chriss, seems like Aztecs didn't recruit Chriss that hard and though Small was a Gonzaga fan growing up maybe he wanted to play in better conference. I don't think Hemsley showed a ton of interest last year maybe his game viewing changed his recruitment.

Lovett's father makes old man Slaughter seem tame and understanding.

He's a 4-star kid with three offers. Something smells fishy in Seattle. That's right, he moved from So Cal and transferred to Rainer Beach, WA. Does anyone know why the kid has so few offers! Grades? Attitude? Injuries?
