I don't get your point, Tom. If this were like...Josh Barnett, for example...or Sean Sherk....I wouldn't be surprised. But I am a little surprised with this.

And you guys are surprised with this why? Uhhh....I don't see where i said I was confused. Or anything even close to that. How about you, Ryan?

I just now saw your reply right now where you finally said " a little surprised". Frankly, I am not surprised anytime a pro athlete gets popped for PED's.

I just think Sonnen isn't the most ideal candidate. I'll be interested to see what the penalty is. The rematch is definitely off.

Pretty hard to get around the UFC's drug tests. Usually the truth comes out. Sonnen screwed himself royally.

That's the case in the NFL and MLB, but I'd argue not the case in MMA. Different ball of wax. Regardless, there's intrigue now in the division, which I hope turns into Belfort vs. Silva SOON.

Agree with Ryan, MMA has strict testing, and many have been busted over the years.
Sure, some could get away with it (say: HGH--no test for it that I know of), but most of the time they got you.

And those who are known roiders usually run from the tests (Barnett, Sherk to name two)..

Ugh. Vitor out of the fight against Okami. Marquardt to replace him. Injury bug bites Vitor again.

I remember when watching Sonnen vs Silva I was looking at Sonnen thinking "Wow what an animal, he's fighting like he's on 'roids."
Well lo and behold..

My buddy texted me when I was on my way back to Orange County, he said the card tonight was total dog$#!+, and the fans booed the main event.
Glad I missed this one.

Main event was a snoozefest. Mir and Cro Cop were tentative. Bad matchup. Sherk and Dunham was an awesome fight. Nog and Bader was average for the most part. I wouldn't say total dog$#!+...I'd give it a C+ overall.
