soooo...i'm confused, how does that make shepard and franklin p*****s? If you jump up and down and squeal like a little girl every time the ref blows his whistle - you're a *****. Some calls are going to be incorrect. Just got to take it. Crying about it until they have to interupt the game, give the other team some free points, and sit your ass down for the remainder of the night - it just flat out bull$h!t. Even in high school - that shouldn't be tolerated. The guy is being a *****. Time to man-up.

Critique? Absolutely, feel free but jr high name calling? Grow up tough guy. Sent from my DROID RAZR using proboards

Ex-lobo coach Gary Colson had a rule that if you got a T you were out for the rest of that half. Except if it was a minor hanging on the rim, didn't matter what you said or did, who you were , or what the score was. Result was very few Ts Winston did sit next to the coach for the rest of the game? Albeit his fifth foul. Either way coach was going to sit him for the rest of the game as he was playing out of control and missing easy lay ups...

At least he shows some emotion on the court. The dude wants to win and that's a good quality.
Shepard is going to be a beast!

The dude wants to win and that's a good quality. You can want to win all you like, but you can't win - sitting on the bench. If he really wants to win, then he has to stop crying when the ref calls his fouls. By the way, most of the fouls he cries about - are totally legit. I've seen him done bad about one time in 10 games. The guy acts like every foul called is a conspiracy to ruin him.

At least he shows some emotion on the court. The dude wants to win and that's a good quality. Shepard is going to be a beast! Why is showing that kind of emotion a good thing? OK, I'm old school, but Bill Russell, Jerry West, Bill Walton, Larry Bird, James Worthy, Jamall Wilkes and so many others just played the game. You could seldom tell if a call went for or against them, or they were winning or loosing. In these guys cases they were usually winning. All those listed were great players and most are in the HOF. If any D-I players doesn't have a burning to win, they don't belong on a roster. BTW, a fist pump or acknowledging an assist is one thing. A constant bitter beer face to the refs does not help the team.

Agree. Use the emotions to fire up your own teammates not make fun of the refs, as long as they have the whistles they have the power.

Better than showing no emotion like the rest of the team last game. I like what I'm seeing with him......shows me he's competitive and wants to win. If any D-I players doesn't have a burning to win, they don't belong on a roster. BTW, a fist pump or acknowledging an assist is one thing. A constant bitter beer face to the refs does not help the team.
