Maybe we can grab him, since we lost out on Isaac. They seem to be similar in ability

Wherever he goes he gonna want to be the man. While I would be happy if he came here, I don't think we can just guarantee him starters minutes.

UCI.
Edit: He won't be able to come here in the spring unless we take away Castleberry's scholarship, right?

I think Isaac is a much better shooter...which is what we need most....but if our coaches like Lamb...than I trust their judgement.

He is a junior at UCLA this year, had an operation earlier this year and has only been able to play 1 game. Would he get 2 years to play or a year and a half.Would be an interesting conversation he could have with one of our coaches, while they are all in LA. Has been granted his release. But would our staff see him as a starter for the future . Could get some interesting information from him.

FWIW... Edward Lewisþ@EdwardLewisBSR RT @geoinreallife How much eligibility would he have left?> I believe three to play two. Edward Lewisþ@EdwardLewisBSR @geoinreallife Yeah I think he could get a medical redshirt for this year because of his knee, though. If we got him, it could open us up to Mater Dei Recruits.

I think we will go after him pretty hard especially after not getting Hamilton. Would fill in nicely as a 2 guard with experience. Big time recruit at one point.
Would probably only have 1 1/2 years. I believe you can't ask for a medical redshirt until your senior season and we would need him next year.
I believe he could sit out all of next year and possibly have 2 years left but we would need im for next year which is why the 1 1/2 years eligible next december.

So for that to happen, he would have to enroll for the spring semester (similar to James Johnson). With the last scholarship going to Castleberry, he would have to pay his own way for the spring semester, right?

He is a terrific player, bring him in. Even with 1 1/2 years of eligibility he would make an impact.

My god...after watching that highlight video of him, he's Jamaal's basketball twin. His maneurisms, his drives to the basket, even is funky-ass shot look so much like Jamaal.
Thats judging off of that one highlight video, but its pretty damn similar to Jamaal. I'll take him if he wants to come here, we'll need a scorer.

He started 32 out of 33 games for UCLA last year. Had 9.5 ppg. He will finish the fall term at UCLA. Did someone say he played one summer with Jamaal.

OK...I guess he can shoot..40% from behind the arc last year. We could use some help in that department with Tapley, Rahon and likely Franklin all moving on.

Lamb is coming off injury, similar to Tapley when we recruited him (everyone else backed off). His lack of minutes at Westwood will be motivation. I like his scoring stats, very Tapley-esque. If he plays tough defense and is athletic enough, Fish should give him a long look. If the Show represents in Anaheim, maybe they should create some chants like they did against Utah "You should transfer!!". We got JJ O'Brien that way. Oldie Out
