The predictable outcome, but still a public-relations black eye for the school and all parties involved.

The predictable outcome, but still a public-relations black eye for the school and all parties involved. I doubt it. Game on!

As long as the game is on, any press is good press. Keep them talking!

Since they seem to be having difficulty selling out by just offering season seat holders, as a long-time loyal member of the Aztec Club, I'm wondering just how long I'm going to have to wait before they ask me whether I'm interested in attending.
(Sound of crickets chirping in the background.)

So glad this is moving forward. With all of the positive things going on with the program (and in spite of all of the negative noise from other schools' fan bases...and even some of our own)...it would have been a damn shame to have this BIG TIME event nixed. This helps to continue our positive progression.

I think the roomers were a good thing, the hype had plateaued.

while they have the court set up , why didn't they let Beth Burns schedule a game on the court and use it to help recruit. I get the the game/network on Direct TV- but would enjoy knowing what other markets will get to see the game in various parts of the CA, West Coast , or even other parts of the country.

Still an embarrassment with the ancillary events being canceled.

I think that they should set up a big screen on the pier where the concert was going to be and have those who want to go but, not able to get tickets watch for $5-$25. And make it a Vets/military fair or something.

Still an embarrassment with the ancillary events being canceled. Why to the schools? The problem was with the promoter.

A glossed over fact so far is that they definitely pushed the game time back an hour. I wonder if that helped the viability of the game from an advertising and attendance perspective and assisted in keeping the game alive.

I hope they didn't use up all their happy tissues over at Ruble Net during their earlier circle jerk session celebrating the game's cancellation.
