There are reports that Issac Hamilton has SDSU and Baylor in his top 2, from 2 sites. 247sports.com/Player/Isaac-Hamilton-1285www.ourdailybears.com/2012/9/11/3318904/baylor-makes-5-sg-isaac-hamiltons-final-5www.baylorfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=244691Lets show this kid that making it to the NBA takes more than a BCS school, lets show this kid that a good coach with a great student body and supportive teammates creates characteristics that will transcend into NBA and for the rest of his life. SDSU, equals life long memories which any Alumni, student, and fans that we will be proud of. Ten years from now, when SDSU is ranked academically in the top 100 nationally and winning our first BCS football bowl, we will be able to say that it all started with the new Fab5 that won their 2nd Basketball National Championship. Waco, or San Diego? should be an easy choice.

Waco is a cesspool. Besides that I think he'd like the fact his parents could watch him play

Waco is a cesspool. Besides that I think he'd like the fact his parents could watch him play I'm sure his parents would be driving to home games if he went to SDSU, especially if Daniel came along with him. In addition, many of the Big west road games will be a short commute for his parents. Finally, it looks like most of our basketball games will be televised in Southern California.

I know Isaac and Daniel have said they want to play together and I know its early in Daniels recruiting process being he's young, but as of now, Daniel has no Baylor offer or interest (at least according to Rivals).

I doubt they have offered Isaac but not Daniel, everyone knows they are a package deal. I also wouldn't rule out Washington or UNLV, Utep is really the only school with no shot here.

From talking to recruiting guys, Isaac wants to be able to be THE GUY from day 1. He wants to be able to shoot, to score, to not have to worry about being pulled from the game because he's a freshman and is shooting too much.
He loves what coach Fisher allows Jamaal to do. He would rather be a big fish in a small pond than fight through PT at a Duke or Kentucky (which he is good enough to attend)
He would be the very best recruit SDSU has ever had. Better than Evan Burns, Kawhi, or Winston and would likely stay 2 years at max.
If we got Isaac you can count on two things 1 - Tony Bland would instantaneously be the most sought after recruiter/assist coach in the country 2- We would be in the lead for Daniel Hamilton (not a lock but in the lead) who could be even better.

Daniel is going wherever Isaac is, they have said that constant times, also I think Daniel is the better recruit when he steps on campus (whereever it is), he is a much better athlete than Isaac, and finishes in traffic better. He also has more traits when you look for a lockdown defender than Isaac has.

In a lineup of Thames, Isaac, Allen, Winston and Spencer, Isaac could have total control and absolutely be the guy. A bunch of unselfish guys who play great defense, can rebound and score around the basket and when they get open looks. That would be scary and everyone would be happy.

Tony Bland needs to stay put as long as he can. His relationship with Steve Fisher is what allows him to speak candidly and truthfully about a program he ginuinely loves.

Potentially. Let's not forget only 1 of those guys has ever played a minute of college hoops. Plus I'm sure JJ O'Brien, Dwayne Polee, and James Johnson might have something to say about that starting 5. Xavier Thames will be the most important player on next years team though (assuming Jamaal leaves early). His senior leadership at the PG position will be so nice to have.

No matter who shows up next year, when Chase and Jamaal leave, Matt Shrigley will be starting. He's the 3rd best offensive player on the team right now behind Jamaal and Chase.

Matt is amazing, and completely overlooked. He is going to contribute much like Tapley did his freshman year.
Back to Isaac... I wonder how much an effect Darin Johnson's decision might have on isaacs commitment
