We'll have a healthy student section, some curious on-lookers who want to see a West Point team (maybe a few Navy folks who want to see them take a beating), and a sizable chunk of folks who are starving for some college football and make the first game of the year. Plus, the regulars. 33,000 butts in the seats. They'll announce 39,000 for tickets sold. So are you taking 33K or 39K? Res ipsa loquitur.

I'm thinking the attendance number will be around 36,000. Hopefully the student section will be full.

What are the season ticket sales? Don't know, the UT stopped doing those pieces this year.

It doesn't help that the Padres play at the same time. I figure it would. Hasn't Padres fan had enough this year? Been like the best team in the NL last couple of months. But still SDSU has what 7 home games? Padres still have plenty of home games left plus could have went to games earlier so I can't see it having a big effect. I'll go with 31,142 for announced tickets, closer to 28 K butts in the seats.

I'm thinking the attendance number will be around 36,000. Hopefully the student section will be full. For a change weren't all San Diegans able to watch the game last week since both Cox and TWC carries the Pac-12 Network? I know satellite customers were the only ones excluded. If so, curious fans from both the North and South counties got a taste of SDSU football. As a result this Army game just might generate more interest. Everyone gets the NBCCSN so those media numbers might also reflect additional viewer interest. It could be a double whammy with nice walk up sales and viewer numbers. Unfortunately for me (DTV) the MTN is history, but that may be a silver lining for the program.

But how many REAL fans will be there? One. I'm real. The rest of you are just manifestations of my alcohol induced stupor.
