That's okay. They are deep enough as it is to 'run,' at least until they collectively choke and sputter in the stretch. Again.

Roscoe Smith isn't even that good. If you ain't Jamaal you're last. Don't make this a Jamaal thread please. I'm just not impressed with his game. UNLV will be just fine without him. Probably better because he won't take big chunks of minutes from guys who I think are better than him.

But the UNLV fans promised us he would be eligible.

Roscoe Smith isn't even that good. His freshman numbers at UConn were better than Jamaal's, no? So what does that mean? Are we basing this analysis solely on numbers or your "unbiased" look at his overall game? That's what I thought. Like I've said all along, only when it's convenient.... Any guy that starts at a Big East school, particularly Uconn, is going to warrant a second look from me at least.

Shep > Katin. Call me when Katin plays any defense

Shep > Katin. Call me when Katin plays any defense Post 1994, hype surrounding a vegas recruiting class is inversely correlated to the disappointment of rebel fans in february and march of the following year (damn near at a 1.0 clip)

I'm just not sold on Roscoe being a game changer. He adds depth and size on the wing, but he's not that good. That's all. If I hear my opponent has "Roscoe Smith", I sleep very well the night before the game.

You don't have to be a starter or a scorer to be a contributor. None of our big men were very good last year yet without any one of them we would have been a lot worse.
Not having Roscoe Smith next year is a loss for UNLV. How big of a loss remains to be seen.
